Heaters are widely used in air heating systems, ventilation systems and air-heat curtains. All types of heaters are used to create a directed air flow, the purpose of which is heating or cooling (depending on the presence of a heating element in the construction – a heat exchanger), but the tasks that each of them is capable of performing are clearly specialized for a particular type. An important determining factor may be the specifics of the heat exchanger structure, namely the heat source that feeds them: electricity, hot water, gas or diesel fuel.
