Round throttle valve
The throttle valve is appointed for operation in air supply systems. When the valve is closed, about 10% of the duct remains open. The round throttle valve can operate by regulating the air flow in any amount and can shut off the air flow completely.
The throttle valves are made of galvanized steel, the axis of rotation is in polyamide bushings. The maximum operating temperature is +50°C. Their main advantages are: short length, high rigidity and high hermeticity of connection to air conductors (at both ends there are grooves
with a T-shaped rubber seal – optional).
Assignment: the round throttle valve is appointed to regulate the flow of air or gases in ventilation systems where round or tubular ducts are used to transfer air or other gases. The main task is to precisely control the volume of flow through the system.
Construction:
- Housing:
- It is usually made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, or other materials that can withstand the conditions of use.
- It has a cylindrical or tubular shape to fit perfectly into round ducts.
- Regulating element:
- Usually paddle or disk type, providing the ability to fine-tune the airflow.
- Drive:
- Can be manual or automatic (electric drive, pneumatic drive) to adjust the position of the control element.
Installation:
- Location:
- The round throttle valve is installed in round or tubular ducts of ventilation systems.
- It is important to choose the right location to ensure effective control over air flow.
- Hermeticity:
- During installation, ensure that the connections are tight to prevent air leakage.
Operating conditions:
- Temperature mode:
- Compliance with the temperature operating conditions determined by the construction features and materials of the valve.
- Corrosive environments:
- Selection of construction materials that can withstand the effects of corrosive environments.l
- Regular maintenance:
- Holding regular maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the throttle valve.
- Safety:
- Compliance with established safety standards and rules to prevent accidents and emergencies.
- Compliance with established safety standards and rules to prevent accidents and emergencies.
