Rectangular electric heaters are electrical devices appointed to generate heat in a rectangular shape. These heaters are used to heat objects or environments in a variety of industries, from industry to home use.
The basic principle of operation is that an electric current flowing through the heating element causes it to heat up, which in turn leads to heat radiation. Such heaters can have different constructions, but they often include a heating element, insulation, a thermostat, and a protective casing.
Compactness and flexibility in size make rectangular electric heaters popular for a variety of applications requiring spot or uniform heating.
The heater housing and switchboard are made of galvanized steel sheet. The heating elements are made of stainless steel. The maximum temperature of the outlet air from the air heater is limited to 40°C. The minimum air flow rate corresponds to a minimum air velocity of 1.5 m/s.
The air heater is equipped with a two-stage overheating protection. The first stage sensor (with automatic reset) is activated when the heater outlet air temperature reaches 60°C. The second stage sensor (with manual reset) is activated when the heater outlet air temperature reaches 90°C.
The environment should be free of corrosive gases and vapors in concentrations exceeding sanitary standards.
